Group: Location Recci (Woodbury Park Cemetery)

One location we chose for our location recci was the cemetery on Woodbury Park Road.

• A graveyard is a conventional and atmospheric setting for horror opening.
• The cemetary had flat pathways for setting up the track and dolly, so would be suitable for pedding shots, which we intend to use during the chase sequence.
• The location is local and easy to access, meaning there is less margin for error in terms of all cast and crew being present and on time. 
• Its local location also means that if anything needs to be reshot from the sequence, it will be less of an issue as we wont need to make travel arrangements.
• Many of the tombstones have a gothic look, and the trees and slopes will create an effective mise-en-scene, adding to the feeling of fear we want to create in this scene.

For these reasons, we have chosen to film part of our opening in this location.
